For the third time in 4 years Craig Dowis has shown his early season dominance by winning a January tournament. This year he claimed the Brandy Branch tournament with a 5 fish limit weighing 16.90lbs. His fish were caught on a dead stick Senko, over the grass. He took home $375.00 for a quality sack of fish. But he wasn’t done there, His partner Kyle Norrod, also had 1 fish for 2.13 to give them a heavy boat total of 19.03 lbs, and earn them $85.00 each.

Despite having the tournament big bass at 5.83 lbs and a 5 fish limit, Coy Frazier was only able to finish in second with a 14.64lb total stringer. His fish were caught on a Rattle Trap over the grass & while dragging a c-rig along the grass edges. He was paid $268.00 for 2^nd & $170.00 for big bass. ($438.00)

Third Place was all about Deep Cranking a dd22 for fat Bass. Brannon Long, weighed only 3 fish for a total of 13.19lbs, that’s almost a 4 1/2 lb average. He was paid $160.00 and sent to the house.

New comer Jimmy Brewer finished in the 4th position. He weighed 4 fish for 11.55 lbs. His fish were caught on a Carolina rig in deep water, but he also had one hook up on a Topwater bait. Jimmy earned $118.00 in his 1^st Century tournament.

Jon Harshbarger cranked a shad colored Rattle trap over the endless grass beds on his way to a 5 fish limit weighing 10.55 lbs. Jon earned $86.00 for 5^th place.

Not far behind was Mike Dysput in 6^th place with 3 fish weighing 10.30 lbs. His fish were caught on the inside grass lines, while Dragging a Watermelon Lake Fork Baby Creature. Mike was paid $64.00.
