Robert Hargrove Tops Pines
At our April 27 tournament held at Lake O The Pines, Robert Hargrove (again) out
fished 26 other members bringing to the scales a 5-fish limit weighing 14.09
lbs, which included the Big Bass at 4.51 lbs.
Robert’s catch was worth $503 for 1st place, Big Bass, and
half of the heavy boat purse.
Robert’s fish came from the north end on his famous chicken rig and a
spinnerbait. Congratulations
Robert!
Robert’s partner for the day, Tommy Yates, finished a strong 2nd
with 4 fish weighing 12.99 lbs and was beaten out for Big Bass honors by a mere
.01. Tommy’s
fish came on a Lake Fork Craw Tube and earned him $265 for 2nd place
and half of the heavy boat money.
Third place belonged to last month’s winner, Craig Dowis, with a limit
totaling 10.40 lbs and a check for $110.
Craig’s fish were caught using spinnerbaits.
Fourth and fifth place were captured by Paul Zukosky and Randy Kvapel
respectively with the only 2 other five-fish limits brought to the scales.
Paul’s bag topped the scales at 10.18 lbs with Randy right behind him
with 10.12 lbs.
For their efforts Paul received $87 and Randy walked away with the final
check for $63.
Randy Conover was the winner of the free entry drawing.
Congratulations are in order for Carey and Lisa Gajdica on the birth of their
daughter, Megan Nicole.
I have personally heard from proud Grandpa, Bernie Gajdica, that she is a
“Little Angel."
Until next month.
