Tournament Hours: 6 am - 3 pm Conditions: Partly Cloudy w/ Showers
On a day where most guys struggled to find just a single keeper fish, Mr. Paul Zukosky brought 4 fish, one of which was 7.04 lbs, to the scales to claim the Victory at Lake Lavon. Paul's fish were caught on a Sexy Shad Crank Bait, and while flippin' a Zoom Speed Craw in green pumpkin, both on a Jig and a Texas rig. His total weight of 14.04 lbs was enough to claim 1st place for $340.00, Big Bass for $135.00, and Heavy Boat for $135.00.
Randy Conover was also able to find 4 fish allowing him to finish in Second place, with 9.30 lbs. Randy got away before I could find out what his fish were caught on. He will earn $220.00 for his efforts.
In Third place was Mike Casanova, who weighed in 2 fish for 7.05 lbs. Mike's fish were caught while flippin a Spit n Fire Jig. He will receive $130.00 for a days work.
Hammed Ghaffer was able to take home the 4th place position with only 2 fish for 6.68 lbs. His fish were caught while Pitching a Zoom Lizard. His payout will be $95.00.
The final money place will be paid to Mike Hughs who weighed in 3 fish for 6.19 lbs. Mike's fish were caught on a C Rig Ring Fry and Jig in shallow water. His pay check will be $65.00. Our first out of the Money winner for the Month of July was Yarik Malyuta who weighed in 2 fish for 5.70 lbs. He will receive a Free Entry into a future tournament.
