Summer fishing begins with a rough ride on Lake Tawakoni. 28 Century Bass Club members setup to brave the heat and high winds. One angler finishes first while almost half the field comes up with a goose egg…

Dan Phifer finished in 1st place with the only 5 fish limit of the day. Dan boated 11.33lbs of bass while fishing a trick worm off a point. Dan collects $327.

With only 3 fish, Coy Frazier finished in 2^nd place with a net weight of 9.64lbs. Coy also caught the big bass of the tournament, weighing 4.58lbs on a Sammy at first light. The rest of Coy’s fish were caught on a c-rig. Yarik Malyuta fished as a non-boater with Coy and caught 2 fish to help secure the heavy boat stringer with a total combined weight of 13.49lbs. Yarik and Coy will split $65 each. Coy also pockets $213 for his runner up finish and $130 for his big bass.

Paul Zukosky finishes in 3^rd place with 7.59lbs. Paul caught his fish on a Zoom Speed Craw and a blueberry Zoom Old Monster worm. $123 will go in Paul’s wallet.

John Harshburger has his third top 5 finish in a row, finishing in 4^th place this month. John’s 3 fish bag weighed in at 7.49lbs. His fish were caught on spinner bait around grass. Another $90 will go in John’s piggy bank.

Johnny Walker takes the final paycheck finishing in 5^th place and taking home $66. Johnny caught his 2 keepers weighing 4.08lbs on a spinner bait and LFT Craw Tube.

For the second month in a row, Ken Caldwell finishes just out of the money in 6^th place. Ken earns another free entry into the next tournament.
