Apparently Mother Nature didn’t know Century’s annual 2 day tournament was scheduled for the 10^th & 11^th of March, as she decided it was a good weekend to bring heavy storms to Texas. But despite the less than favorable conditions, Nick Carroccio was on fish consistently for 2 days to take home top honors. His 10 fish, two day total of 27.36lbs was more than enough to claim the victory. Nick fished a creature bait around shallow wood cover for both days.

In Second place with 21.08 lbs, is Mr. John Harshbarger. John claims to have no idea what they were biting, he junk fished for 2 days with no rhyme or reason, but apparently his junk fishing is stronger than most.

A Third place finish was a little bit of let down for Day One leader Keith Green who had the day one big bass of 9.31lbs, and a total of 20.70lbs for the weekend. The big storms that blew through sat night apparently shut down his fish for Sunday. He caught them all on a 6” worm in less than 2 ft of water.

Fourth place was taken by Mike Casanova, who can thank his day one Boater, Mr. Carroccio, for providing his pattern. Mike struggled early the first day, but then was given a lesson by his Boater, and he started to catch them. He weighed in 19.59lbs, all from fishing his borrowed creature bait around shallow wood cover.

Fifth place was Mike Dysput, two small limits for a total of 18.02lbs was enough to take the final money place. His fish were caught on a swimming rattle snake, and a chicken-rig.

The 1^st out of the money Free Entry will be awarded to Mark Calhoun who weighed in 17.93lbs for two days, including a nice 7lber on day one. He caught his fish the first day on c-rig lizard on a tank damn, but on day 2 he had to change to a trick worm and move to the main lake damn.

The day two big bass was brought to the scales by Chad Hensley, who caught a 4.87lb fish while running a crank bait near a laydown.
